She also holds a Master’s in International Marketing of Cosmetics and Fragrances from a program with ISIPCA, ESSEC, and the University of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.
With 10 years of experience in the cosmetics industry and five years in product and marketing management, she combines a passion for science with a drive to understand and anticipate market trends. Leveraging her expertise, she leads innovation initiatives and creates content showcasing how Croda’s home care solutions address evolving consumer needs.
Manuel Serna specialises in applied chemistry and fragrance innovation. As a Fragrance Technologies Manager, his professional focus lies in managing R&D projects and leading multidisciplinary teams to translate scientific research into industrial solutions with real market impact.
His expertise covers anti-malodour technologies, microencapsulation systems, microbiome interaction, and biodegradable solutions, aimed at combining scientific excellence with sustainable innovation. Manuel is passionate about driving the future of fragrance and biotechnology by developing technologies that enhance product performance and promote consumer well-being.
Sue is an R&D leader with over 15 years’ experience in innovation across consumer and industrial products. She is responsible for driving innovation across a broad portfolio of products and technologies within Croda’s Home Care business.
Sue studied Chemistry at the University of Leeds and has extensive expertise in applied science and formulation development, giving her a deep understanding of how science, performance and consumer understanding intersect. She is passionate about creating sustainable innovations that deliver clear, tangible benefits for customers and consumers, helping to shape the future of more responsible and effective home care products.
